@article{Kovtun_Korotkevich_Pasovets_Todorov_2019, title={Optimization of the fire truck’s tank AС-5.0-50/4 based on the chassis MAZ-5337 by the method computer modeling}, volume={3}, url={https://journals.ucp.by/index.php/jcp/article/view/166}, DOI={10.33408/2519-237X.2019.3-1.38}, abstractNote={<p><em>Purpose.</em> One of the most relevant areas for research is the upgrade of existing and development of new structural solutions of the fire truck’s tanks with the purpose of their operational safety improvement in fire rescue equipment.</p> <p><em>Methods.</em> The problem of determining the emerging stress-strain state in the construction of the fire truck’s tank is solved by developing a calculated computer model and adapting it to operational modes of motion.</p> <p><em>Findings.</em> The dependence of the dimensional factors influence of structural elements installed in the fire truck’s tank on the stress-strain state that occurs during operation was fixed. The optimum dimensions of the structural elements components were identified. The recommendations for the structural addition of fire truck’s tanks AC-5.0-50/4 on the basis of the chassis MAZ-5337 were developed.</p> <p><em>Application field of research.</em> The presented results of the research were obtained in the field of strength properties of containers for the transportation of liquids and can be used in the repair and upgrading works of the relevant constructions.</p> <p><em>Conclusions.</em> The integration and practical complex implementation of the recommendations has improved the operational reliability of the fire truck’s tank AC-5.0-50/4 on the basis of the chassis MAZ-5337 by more than 30 %, thereby increasing its overhaul period.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Journal of Civil Protection}, author={Kovtun Вадим and Korotkevich Сергей and Pasovets Владимир and Todorov Иван}, year={2019}, month={Feb.}, pages={38–45} }
