TY - JOUR AU - Lasuta, Геннадий AU - Pastukhov, Сергей Михайлович AU - Arestovich, Дмитрий AU - Tsygankov, Евгений PY - 2018/08/17 Y2 - 2024/03/29 TI - Development of the national strategy to reduce the risk of emergency situations in the Republic of Belarus for the period of 2019-2030 JF - Journal of Civil Protection JA - JCP VL - 2 IS - 3 SE - Safety in emergencies (technical sciences) DO - 10.33408/2519-237X.2018.2-3.359 UR - https://journals.ucp.by/index.php/jcp/article/view/141 SP - 359-366 AB - <p><em>Purpose.</em> Familiarization of the community with the main stages of the development of the National strategy for the reduction of the risk of emergencies in the Republic of Belarus for the period of 2019–2030.</p><p><em>Methods.</em> The methods of statistical data processing were used, as well as the generalization of positive experience in the development of strategic documents.</p><p><em>Findings.</em> Taking into account the specific features of the country, the prerequisites and grounds for the development of the Strategy are given, the general structure of the Strategy is formulated and conceptually described, and proposals for the creation of an effective National platform for the reduction of the risk of emergencies are prepared.</p><p><em>Application field of research.</em> Strategic planning in the field of prevention and elimination of emergency situations.</p><p><em>Conclusions.</em> The development of the Strategy will ensure the creation of a flexible system to confront the threats of emergencies with the decentralization of the responsibilities of the parties. Since the goals and objectives are comprehensive, the implementation of the Strategy will directly contribute to the achievement of the three main goals of sustainable development (GSD), and the remaining will be achieved through the introduction of the activities being developed into all components of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental. Simultaneously with the GSD the implementation of the Strategy will contribute to the solution of more than twenty subordinate targets, set out in Agenda-2030.</p> ER -
