Synthesis of directions and measures to mitigate the adverse effects of natural emergencies in Belarus based on the analysis.

Findings. The analysis of the situation with natural emergencies in the Republic of Belarus from 2008 to 2017 is presented. It is shown that climate change has a certain impact on the situation with natural emergencies causing adverse events that were not previously observed in the Republic of Belarus (for example, hurricane winds). An increase in the economic damage from the weather manifestations typical for the Belarusian latitudes with an insignificant change in the number of emergencies caused by climatic changes and dangerous meteorological phenomena was noted. The analysis of foreign experience in coping with adverse climatic phenomena is carried out. Measures to mitigate the adverse effects of natural emergencies in Belarus are proposed.

Application field of research. The obtained results can be applied in the development of plans and recommendations for mitigating the adverse effects of natural emergencies.
ER -
