Abstract

The author studied the available ways and means to eliminate peatbog fires with the purpose to develop tactics to combat peatpog fires by using special technical means and equipment of fire fighting fleet with specialized tools. The results of the research work are presented within the framework of the carried out project "To develop the tactics of fighting peatbogs fires by using specialized equipment" State National Technical Program "Protection from emergency situations".
