Abstract

Purpose. Substantiation of constructive approaches to the development of an autonomous means of individual protection of rescuers against heat damage at the initial stage of accident elimination.

Methods. Theoretical substantiation of the design of an autonomous means of individual protection of rescuers from heat damage, laboratory test model sample of automatic autonomous heat protective device.

Findings. Substantiation of the design of an autonomous means of individual protection of rescuers from heat damage at the initial stage of accident elimination. Manufactured and tested model sample of automatic autonomous heat protective device, that demonstrated the effectiveness of cooling the body of the rescuer by periodically spraying the surface of fighting clothing. Automatic operation device tested in laboratory conditions.

Application field of research. The proposed design of automatic autonomous heat protective device demonstrated its efficiency. In the future it can be brought to series production and manufacturing the equipment of rescue units. For this purpose, engineering and design study of individual components and the system as a whole is needed.
