Purpose. Substantiation of the need of implementation of new regulatory requirements with time control while performing exercises on the discipline «Work with fire-technical and rescue equipment».
Methods. Analysis of special scientific and methodological literature, continuous statistical observation, analysis of research results using methods of mathematical statistics.
Findings. A pedagogical experiment has been carried out to determine the optimal time for the exercising and implementation of techniques when working with fire-technical and rescue equipment at heights. Based on the experiment, new standards have been developed with control over the time of performing techniques and exercises.
Application field of research. The results of the research can be used in the educational process of training the university students on the discipline «Work with fire-technical and rescue equipment» and in testing the cumulative knowledge and skills of acting employees of the Ministry of emergency situations.
