Purpose. Development of new fire-resistant heat-shielding materials in order to increase energy efficiency and fire safety of buildings and structures.
Findings. Based on the chemical processes between the main components, such as dolomite and wollastonite minerals, standard sodium liquid glass and mineral acids, as well as the addition of organic fillers, new porous compositions were obtained. A technology has been developed to produce a new porous tile material. Studies of some fire-technical characteristics of the materials obtained showed that the new material is non-combustible.
Application field of research. The research results presented are obtained in the field of synthesizing new porous materials and can be used in the field of increasing fire and thermal protection of building structures and materials.
