Abstract

Purpose. Search of optimal methods of application of modern manual fire barrels for wide distribution of new means of fire suppression.

Methods. Development of tactical techniques for the use of modern hand-held fire barrels by experimental studies of the positions of barrel operator and hoseman.

Findings. The optimal position of the barrel operator and hoseman when working with hand-held fire barrels (on the example of the SPRUK 50/0,7 «Viking»). Recommendations for their application have been developed.

Application field of research. The presented research results can be used in firefighting and emergency response.
