Engineering and technical activities of civil defense and emergency prevention activities in the composition of design documentation

Purpose. The article analyzes the problematic issues of designing engineering and technical measures of civil defense and measures to prevent emergencies as a part of project documentation.
Methods. The methods of comparison and analysis have been used.
Findings. The article presents the problematic issues of designing the section of the project documentation on engineering and technical measures of civil defense. Applications field of research. The obtained results can be used in the development and improvement of regulatory documents that determine the content of engineering and technical measures of civil defense.
Conclusions. It is shown that today there is a number of unsolved problems and issues in the current technical normative legal acts when designing the corresponding section of project documentation. The article analyzes the possibility of a stochastic control mechanism for engineering and technical measures of civil defence, measures to prevent emergencies, and shows the shortcomings of the deterministic method.
